This 8 inch wide cherry bowl has a special enhancement of a red dyed band surrounding the bowl. The band is further enhanced with pyrography, which is burning the wood with special pens.
Unique maple bowl that has a bark inclusion running across the face of the bowl. The wood was harvested from Northern Michigan following a storm that took down the tree.

Including the bark on top of the bowl is called a “Natural Edge” and it adds a special “out-doorsey” feel to the bowl. On top of that, three feet are carved into the bowl then the bottom section was dyed this deep maroon tone. The bowl is heavier than most bowls because it has a thick bottom.
